The Corvidae Cabal's output reminds one of Scott Candey's previous output as Gruntsplatter, but here we have slightly less noisy rumblings at work (though not entirely gone), and in its place a more spaciously dark transfiguration of his contemplative and apocalyptic visions. The music is no less powerful and may even be more hypnotic and mesmerizing as it recalls dream-like states and the spaces between sounds, emotion and memory. All four releases are worthy of your time and attention.
